[09-28-2022] San Diego County, CA – 61-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured in E-Bike Crash in Carlsbad

According to the authorities, a 61-year-old woman riding an electric bike was hospitalized after suffering from severe injuries in North County Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

According to Carlsbad police Jodee Reyes, the crash transpired around 5:25 p.m. near the intersection of Carlsbad Boulevard and Breakwater Road in Carlsbad.

On Ponto Drive, a short distance to the north of Breakwater Road, emergency personnel found a 61-year-old woman who was unresponsive upon their arrival.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors determined that her injuries were “serious.”
