[09-28-2022] San Joaquin County, CA – Unidentified Pedestrian Seriously Injured from Hit-and-run Accident in Stockton

According to authorities, one person was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash northeast of Stockton on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

The crash happened around 8:40 p.m. on Alpine Road, south of Live Oak Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver in a Volkswagen Jetta struck a pedestrian.

The victim suffered serious life-threatening injuries.

According to authorities, the vehicle is dark blue in color, has damage to the left side of the car, and is missing a left-side mirror.

The investigation is still ongoing.
