According to investigators, ten people were injured in a violent collision on the 10 Freeway in Yucaipa on Saturday night, October 1, 2022.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on the I-10’s eastbound lanes at 16th Street.
According to CAL FIRE’s San Bernardino Unit, six vehicles were reportedly involved. Several people were reportedly extricated from two of those cars by the fire department.
Three people were taken by ambulance to local hospitals, but their conditions remain unknown.
Since then, the freeway has reopened. The cause of the crash remains unclear.
Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
Multi-Vehicle Crash Statistics
