[10-01-2026] San Francisco County, CA – Pedestrian Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Being Struck By Truck Near Crocker Amazon Playground

A 43-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a truck in a hit-and-run collision in San Francisco on Thursday evening, October 1, 2026.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the incident was reported at around 7:05 p.m. in the area of Moscow Street and France Avenue, near Crocker Amazon Playground.

Police said the pedestrian was in a crosswalk when he was struck by a truck. The driver allegedly left the scene following the collision.

Authorities later located and arrested the driver on suspicion of hit-and-run.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
