Update news:

According to the local news, one person suffered injuries after a multi-vehicle collision in Glenn County on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

The mishap occurred around 4 p.m. on Interstate 5 near County Road 57.

Walter M., 21, of Bakersfield, was operating a Freightliner semi-truck when a car in front of him slowed down suddenly that causes him to swerve to the left into the next lane of traffic and collide with a vehicle being operated by Hector D., 34, of Sacramento.

According to CHP, both cars veered off the road and into the middle of the road before slamming.

Delgado continued traveling southeast before resting on the northbound side of Interstate 5’s east shoulder. Before tipping over on the passenger side, Mendoza continued to travel northeast, according to authorities.

At the time of the collision, a third vehicle—a Volvo semi-truck driven by Sacramento resident Rana Mehdi, 34—was traveling northbound on Interstate 5.
