[10-04-2022] Two People Dead After Motorcycle Versus Vehicle Crash OildaleAccording to the local news, they identified two people who died, 50-year-old Thomas D. P. Jr. and 55-year-old Rebecca H. C., on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in Oildale.

According to the CHP, the resulting cause of the death of two people was a fatal motorcycle crash.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle and a vehicle collision left one man and one woman dead in Oildale Tuesday night, October 4, 2022.

According to CHP, the motorcycle collision occurred around 11:07 p.m. at North Chester Avenue and Bancroft Drive intersection.

A man in his 50s was reportedly speeding north on North Chester Avenue on a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle with a female passenger.

Reportedly, Gannon S., 23, of Bakersfield, was heading west on Bancroft Drive in a Subaru.

The motorcycle rider made a right onto North Chester Avenue. Deputies say that as Stane moved into the second lane, the motorcycle swerved to the right and collided with the Subaru’s front left door.

The motorcyclist and his passenger were thrown from their bike, landed on the road, and were instantly killed by the impact. According to CHP officers, the crash was likely exacerbated by high speeds.

The names of the motorcyclist and their passenger will be released later.
