[10-07-2021] Burlington County, N.J. – 17-Year-Old Killed, Father Injured Following a Targeted Shooting Outside Burlington Township Walmart

A 17-year-old boy was killed while his father was hurt after a targeted shooting in a Walmart parking lot on Thursday night, October 7, 2021.

The incident transpired at approximately 10:00 p.m. in a Walmart parking lot on Mount Holly Road in Burlington Township.

The 17-year-old boy and his father planned to meet with the four suspects, but after a brief argument, shots were fired, and the 17-year-old boy was killed.

The 17-year-old boy was identified as Albert W. His father was rushed to an area hospital and is expected to recover from his injuries.

The four suspects were later caught and charged with felony murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and drug and weapons-related offenses. They were identified as 20-year-old Kweli M., 19-year-old Kayhree S., 19-year-old Jayviyohn E., and 19-year-old Azza K.

Kayhree, Jayviyohn, and Kweli are held in Burlington County Jail, while Azza was lodged in Atlantic County Justice Facility.
