[08-22-2021] Thomas County, GA – Woman Hurt After a Machete Attack at a Local Walmart

One woman was injured after getting physically assaulted with a machete at a local Walmart on Sunday night, August 22nd, 2021.

The suspect attacked the woman with a machete inside a local Walmart for unclear reasons. Fortunately, nearby shoppers intervened and were able to stop the man before law enforcement arrived.

The woman sustained unspecified injuries in the incident and immediately received treatment. The suspect was later identified as Malik T.

It’s unclear what provoked the suspect to attack the woman inside the store. Information about the incident is limited at the moment.

The Thomasville Police Department is further investigating the case.
