[10-31-2026] Solano County, CA – One Killed, Two Seriously Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Vacaville

One man was killed, and two women were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Vacaville early Saturday morning, October 31, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:35 a.m. on Interstate 80 near Lagoon Valley Road.

A Hyundai Tucson driven by a 29-year-old man overturned for unknown reasons and came to rest in the traffic lanes.

A BMW coupe, a Buick SUV, and a Kia sedan subsequently struck the overturned Hyundai.

The Hyundai driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His front-seat passenger, a 29-year-old woman, was transported to a hospital and remained in critical condition Saturday.

The Kia driver, a 60-year-old woman, was also hospitalized with major injuries. No other injuries were reported Saturday morning.

CHP said alcohol and drugs were not suspected as factors. The cause remains under investigation.
