[10-13-2025] Los Angeles County, CA – One Dead, Two Injured in Four-Vehicle Crash on Soledad Canyon Road and Golden Oak Road in Santa Clarita

One person was killed and two others were injured in a four-vehicle crash on Soledad Canyon Road and Golden Oak Road in Santa Clarita on Monday afternoon, October 13, 2025.

According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the crash was reported at 12:49 p.m. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene at 1:03 p.m. and confirmed the fatality. Two other individuals were transported to a local hospital, with the first transported at 1:19 p.m. and the second at 1:26 p.m.

The crash caused significant traffic disruptions, with Soledad Canyon Road closed from Golden Oak to Commuter Way. Train traffic was also interrupted but resumed within two hours.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no information has been released regarding potential criminal involvement.
