Alameda County Premises Liability Lawyers
Injury victims who believe the property owner’s carelessness is to blame for their distress can file a premises liability claim.
Landlords and building owners are responsible for ensuring their properties are safe for occupants in the event of a fire. They must ensure that their building complies with local and state fire regulations by installing sufficient smoke detectors, exits, and other safety features.
A building fire can have far-reaching consequences, including the displacement of people and the destruction of property. If the building is damaged or destroyed beyond repair, it cannot be restored. Extreme burns and smoke inhalation are just two of the many dangers firefighters face daily.
Any building owner or landlord who does not take these measures is putting their tenants in needless danger. Seek legal counsel from a trusted premises liability attorney if you or a loved one has been hurt because of inadequate fire safety measures in a building.
