Multi-Vehicle Crash Statistics

Increases in traffic accidents might be related to the state’s booming economy. According to data collected by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 3,304 people lost their lives in traffic-related fatalities in 2010.

It’s risky to get behind the wheel in California. If the drivers involved had been more careful, these collisions could have been avoided. It is estimated that human error contributes to over 94% of all accidents.

Car accident injuries can be extremely painful or even fatal depending on the severity of the accident. Due to the prevalence of road accidents, some motorists may grow numb to the inherent dangers of the road.

If three or more vehicles are involved in an accident, it is considered a multi-vehicle accident. There could be up to six cars involved after a head-on collision.

According to the NHTSA, more than 13,000 people lost their lives in vehicle crashes involving two or more cars in 2010.

Los Angeles County Car Accident Lawyers

There is little room for debate about who was at fault when only two cars were involved. When several vehicles are involved, it can be challenging to find a solution that works for everyone.

Determining the negligent person or party becomes more difficult. Several lives could have been lost if two or more cars had collided.

Insurance companies are not reliable resources for helping you sort out the aftermath of a multi-car crash in which fault is unclear. When resolving a claim, insurance companies prioritize their own financial interests over those of their policyholders.
