One person was killed in a fatal traffic collision involving a motorcycle and two SUVs in the unincorporated community of Homeland, west of Hemet, on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a witness reported the collision at 2:36 p.m. at Homeland and McWade Avenues.
The motorcycle rider reportedly suffered injuries, and a passenger got trapped in a car.
According to witnesses, two SUVs were involved, and there was a report of an unresponsive child in a vehicle.
Later, it was confirmed by the Riverside County Fire Department that one person passed away at the scene, and another was taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
