[10-15-2022] Motorcyclist Killed in Two Vehicle Crash in Citrus HeightsAccording to the Citrus Heights Police Department, a motorcyclist was killed in a fatal two-vehicle collision in Citrus Heights Friday night, October 15, 2022.

According to the police, the crash occurred around 8:00 p.m. on the 8100 block of Auburn Boulevard.

Officers who responded to the call reported seeing a motorcyclist who had been knocked unconscious and lying on the road.

The officers reported that they attempted to perform life-saving measures on the motorcyclist; however, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

According to reports, the driver of the other vehicle involved remained at the scene and was helping investigators with their investigation.

In order to facilitate the investigation into the crash, Auburn Boulevard was closed near Rollingwood Boulevard for approximately five hours on Friday night.

According to the investigators, neither alcohol nor drugs are being investigated as potential causes of the crash.
