[10-15-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – A Head-On Collision in Colton Trapped Two People

According to California fire officials, two people were trapped inside a car after a head-on collision sent it flying over the edge of a rushing canal close to Colton on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

According to a news release from the Colton Fire Department, two city firefighters saved two occupants on Saturday afternoon.

According to the press release, firefighters used the Jaws of Life to remove a passenger door after stabilizing the car in the water.

According to firefighters, the two people inside were saved and taken to a trauma center.

Local authorities did not mention the status of their injuries.
