[10-15-2024] Sacramento County, CA – Man Injured After Car Strikes Electric Scooter in Gold River

A man riding an electric scooter was injured after being hit by a car in the Gold River area of Sacramento County, on Tuesday morning, October 15, 2024.

According to California Highway Patrol logs, emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene around 7:40 a.m. at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Gold Express Drive.

The cause of the crash remains unclear. The injured man was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, as reported by dispatcher radio communications.
