Fatal Car Accident Statistics

In California, numerous people perish in single-vehicle collisions every year. According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, only one vehicle is involved in about 62% of fatal car accidents in California. Due to the numerous potential threats on the road, California drivers must be vigilant.

A variety of factors may cause accidents involving a single vehicle. Driving erratically on a slippery road, such as increasing your speed or making a sharp turn, could result in an off-road collision or a runaway car.

Something as substantial as a branch or other trash from the truck’s back may have washed ashore on the side of the road. Additionally, this might make driving conditions risky.

Your insurance policy’s coverage plan may severely restrict your ability to recover from a single-vehicle accident, regardless of the other driver’s negligence.
