[10-18-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – One Killed, Two Injured After Head-On Collision in San Jose

One person died, and two others sustained injuries following a head-on collision in San Jose on Sunday morning, October 18, 2026.

According to police, the crash was reported shortly before 6:30 a.m. near Capitol and McLaughlin avenues.

Three people were transported to a hospital, where one later died. The extent of the other two people’s injuries was not provided.

Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
