According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal two-vehicle crash killed at least one person on the 101 Freeway in Woodland Hills Wednesday morning, October 19, 2022.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision transpired around 12:30 a.m. near Shoup Avenue on 101 Freeway in Woodland Hills.
When responding officers arrived, they discovered a vehicle wedged more than halfway underneath the back of a large truck that had come to a stop at the gore point.
The remainder of the car was mangled and scattered in a heap of wreckage behind the truck.
It was determined that the driver had already passed away at the scene. There was no immediate information available regarding their identity.
The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
