[10-23-2022] Pedestrian Dead After Being Struck by Vehicle in PetalumaAccording to the police, a collision involving an unidentified pedestrian and a vehicle at slow speeds resulted in the pedestrian’s death in Petaluma Sunday afternoon, October 23, 2022.

The fatal pedestrian collision occurred at 12:42 p.m. near 333 N. McDowell Blvd.

According to the police, when the collision occurred, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle leaving the property and turning right onto N. McDowell Boulevard.

According to the police, the pedestrian was walking forward when he suddenly fell backward and hit his head on the pavement.

The pedestrian received medical assistance from the officers, and then he was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital by the paramedics.

According to the police, the pedestrian passed away while treated at the hospital. The individual’s name has not been made public by the police as of this moment.

The investigation into the collision is still ongoing.
