[10-23-2023] Alameda County, CA – Hispanic Male Pedestrian Injured Following Hit-and-Run Collision on I-580 in Pleasanton

A Hispanic male pedestrian was injured after a hit-and-run collision in Pleasanton on Monday morning, October 23, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Interstate 580 westbound, east of Interstate 680, before 7:47 a.m.

Authorities said the man was walking on the interstate lanes for unknown reasons while wearing a black sweater. He was struck by an unspecified vehicle that fled the scene.
