[10-26-2023] Fresno County, CA – Male Pedestrian Hospitalized Following Hit-and-Run Collision on Nielsen and Thorne Avenues

A male pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run collision in Fresno on Thursday morning, October 26, 2023.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the incident occurred between Nielsen Avenue and Thorne Avenue after 1:00 a.m.

Authorities found the man lying on the road. It was concluded that a vehicle had struck him, but police could not locate the driver nearby.

The unidentified victim sustained critical injuries and was transported to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
