[10-27-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – One Person Died, Two Injured After Vehicle vs. Semi-Trailer Crash on 215 Freeway in Devore

One person died, and two others were injured after a crash between a vehicle and two semi-trailers in Devore, San Bernardino, on Friday night, October 27, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 11:41 p.m. on the southbound 215 Freeway, just south of Devore Road.

A Dodge Challenger, which was reportedly participating in street racing, was trapped and wedged on its side between two semi-trailers with serious damage.

An injured female had self-extricated, but a second victim had to be removed and transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. One occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.

None of the truck occupants were reportedly injured. The identification of the deceased and other victims was not revealed, and there is no further information available at this time regarding the crash.
