[10-28-2023] Three Pedestrians Critically Injured Following Vehicle Collision Near 710 Freeway in Long BeachThree pedestrians were critically injured after being struck by a vehicle near the port of Long Beach on Saturday night, October 28, 2023.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the incident occurred just after 6:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Pico Avenue, near the 710 Freeway.

A woman, a man, and a 16-year-old boy were struck by an unidentified vehicle. The victims were transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.

The driver remained at the scene and was hospitalized before being detained. Neither his identity nor his condition were disclosed.

The identities of the victims remain unknown, and information regarding the cause of the crash is unclear as investigations continue.
