A 7-year-old juvenile was injured after a hit-and-run collision in Berkeley on Tuesday night, October 31, 2023.

According to the Berkeley Police Department, the collision occurred at 6:24 p.m. on the 1200 block of Derby Street.

An unknown dark sedan struck the boy as he walked with his mother on the street while trick-or-treating on Halloween. The victim reportedly broke his leg but was likely to recover, and his mother sustained no visible injuries.
