[11-05-2022] Big Rig Collision with Two Vehicles Left One Dead and One Injured in RosemeadReports by CHP stated that one person was killed and another was hurt in a big rig collision with two other vehicles in Rosemead on Saturday morning, November 05, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle collision that overturned the truck occurred at 5:10 a.m. on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway at Rosemead Boulevard.

The county fire department dispatcher reported that paramedics were called to the scene and transported one person to a hospital, whose condition was not known.

Another person was declared dead, although it was also unknown whether the person was dead on the spot or at the hospital.

Information regarding the specific details of the collision and the identities of everyone involved were not released by the authorities.

The crash resulted in the closure of four lanes of the eastbound freeway at Rosemead Boulevard. By 11:30 a.m., the shutdown was lifted.

The authorities are further investigating the cause of the collision, including whether alcohol or drugs played a role.
