The phrase “hit and run” describes a car accident in which one party leaves the scene without giving the other party enough information or assistance or filing a formal report. Being involved in a motorcycle accident is traumatic enough, but being the victim of a hit-and-run is especially upsetting.

In contrast to other developed nations, hit-and-run accidents are more frequent in the US and are now the leading cause of fatalities.

Riding a motorcycle can be deemed more dangerous than other forms of transportation, and the likelihood of dying or suffering serious injuries rises over time. However, it is still possible to enjoy riding motorcycles without running the risk of your life if you receive the right rider training, wear the right safety gear, and follow traffic laws.
