[11-06-2023] San Diego County, CA – 39-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed Following Hit-And-Run Crash on Interstate 805 Near Sorrento Valley

A 39-year-old motorcyclist was killed after a hit-and-run vehicle crash near Sorrento Valley in San Diego on Monday night, November 6, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 8:58 p.m. on Interstate 805 southbound, south of Interstate 5.

Reports say the man on a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle was struck by a red Honda Crosstour. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and was hit by another vehicle that shortly fled the scene.

The victim was found dead on the scene. Other individuals were not reported to have sustained any injuries. The 84-year-old Honda driver remained at the scene, and alcohol was not found to have been a factor in the crash.
