[11-12-2022] Sacramento County, CA – DUI Driver Smashed into a Store, Injured Five People in Sacramento

The local firefighters reported that four individuals were injured when a car smashed through the front of a Natomas Ross store in Sacramento on Saturday evening, November 12, 2022.

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the crash involving a DUI driver occurred at 8:47 p.m. in the 3700 Block of Truxel Road.

Firefighter Capt. Keith Wade stated that the responders found a chaotic scene where a 44-year-old Brant F. driving an SUV through the store’s front doors, injuring at least five people and causing several others to fling themselves out of the way.

All five were taken to the hospital, one with severe injuries and the others with less serious ones. There are currently no updates available regarding their conditions.

Filosena was reportedly detained by police at the scene after discovering he was intoxicated while driving and possessing drugs.

He was being detained in the Sacramento County Jail on both those accusations and parole violation.

Court records showed he was already arrested before for several other crimes in recent years. He is not eligible for bond and is due in Sacramento County Court.
