[11-14-2022] Big-Rig Crash Near Burrel Kills Two PeopleTwo people were killed after a big-rig collision in northern Burrel Monday morning, November 14, 2022.

According to authorities, the fatal crash occurred around 7:00 a.m. near Kamm and Jameson avenues.

The large truck was traveling north on Jameson when it ran a stop sign at an intersection, causing it to leak fuel.

Police reported that the Toyota overturned and was thrown about 40 feet into a vineyard. The big rig also turned over.

The car’s driver and one occupant in the big rig were both declared dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the other truck passenger was airlifted to the Community Regional Medical Center.

It is still unclear what caused the deadly collision.
