[11-15-2022] Tulare County, CA – Elderly Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision in Visalia

The California Highway Patrol reported that an elderly man was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Visalia on Tuesday afternoon, November 15, 2022.

According to CHP officers, the collision occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on Avenue 264 and Road 156.

A man driving a sedan east on Avenue 264 stopped at a stop sign before crossing the junction, failing to look both ways.

A pickup truck traveling south on Road 156 hit the sedan on the driver’s side, fatally injuring the driver. The pickup driver’s condition is unclear.

Police claim that neither alcohol nor drugs were used. The crash is still under investigation.
