[11-17-2022] 65-Year-Man Dies After Fatal Collision on Mission BoulevardA 65-year-old man identified as William D. died after he was struck while standing on Jurupa Valley street early Friday morning, November 18, 2022.

According to authorities, the fatal collision occurred around 5:10 a.m. on Mission Boulevard, close to Jolly Way.

Reports stated that the 65-year-old victim suddenly appeared in the driver’s line of sight while standing in the road as the Chevrolet Silverado driver was traveling west.

After swerving to avoid the man, the driver struck him on the road.

The uninjured pickup driver immediately pulled over and called 911.

Respondents arrived at the scene and declared the victim dead on the spot.

Authorities are currently investigating why the victim was on the street.
