[11-18-2022] San Diego County, CA – 65-Year-Old Motorcyclist Fatally Struck by Pickup in Pacific Beach

A 65-year-old rider was killed and struck after he collided with a pickup truck in San Diego Friday, November 18, 2022.

Authorities reported that the fatal crash transpired around noon eastbound on Garnet Avenue, west of Morrell Street.

Reports state that the victim was traveling eastbound when a pickup truck entered the intersection, hitting the motorcycle and slamming into the pickup truck’s drive side.

Responders immediately rushed the victim, Mark O., to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities are still determining what caused the fatal collision.
