[11-19-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Tarzana

Authorities said a pedestrian was killed after getting struck by a hit-and-run driver in Tarzana in Los Angeles on Saturday evening, November 19, 2022.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred at 11:40 p.m. on Belmar Avenue and Friar Street.

The victim, identified as a mid-30s man, was crossing Belmar Avenue when a vehicle turned left from Friar Street.

The vehicle, only described as a Nissan, hit the pedestrian and went on driving, leaving him with serious injuries.

The guy was taken to a hospital when paramedics arrived, where he eventually died.

Police continued the search for the hit-and-run driver, and anyone with information is urged to contact them.
