A motorcycle police officer was hospitalized after getting struck by a vehicle in Los Angeles on Saturday evening, November 19, 2022.
The hit-and-run collision occurred at around 10:00 p.m. in the North Hills neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley region.
The Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department responded to the collision scene to evaluate the officer. The motorcycle was discovered on the sidewalk.
The officer was taken by LAFD to a nearby hospital in an unclear condition as the suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.
For an undetermined period of time, West Roscoe from Haskell to Woodley was closed to traffic due to the collision.
