[11-23-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Woman Killed Following Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Collision Along Highway 101 Near Studio City

A woman was killed following a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision near Studio City, Los Angeles, early Thursday morning, November 23, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident happened around 3:51 a.m. between the northbound lanes of Highway 101 and the Vineland Avenue on-ramp.

The victim was found lying on the roadway along with one vehicle. She was declared dead at the scene. Her age is estimated to be in the 30s, but her identification has yet to be fully disclosed.

Reports say the driver contacted the authorities after hitting the pedestrian. They remained at the scene to cooperate with the ongoing investigations.

All freeway lanes within the area were temporarily blocked until 7:00 a.m.
