[11-26-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Mother and Child Injured by Racing Vehicle in City of Industry

A mother and her child were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in the City of Industry on Saturday evening, November 26, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash caused by an allegedly racing vehicle occurred around 10:14 p.m. on the South 605 Freeway and 60 Freeway.

Responders from CHP and the Los Angeles County Fire Department discovered one car in the number three lane and another off the road and down an embankment.

The car that caused the collision was racing down the highway when it collided with the rear end of the other car, sending it hurtling into the embankment.

A mother and kid were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with unidentified wounds.

The suspect who started the collision was present and was not taken to a hospital.

The investigation by the authorities continued.
