[11-30-2022] Orange County, CA – Traffic Collision Involving Motorcycle Severely Injures One in Costa Mesa

A man was seriously injured after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle in Costa Mesa Wednesday afternoon, November 30, 2022.

Authorities stated that the crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. in the 2000 block of Placentia Avenue.

According to reports, a driver traveling south attempted to make a lawful left-hand turn near a repair shop and collided with the motorcyclist.

Responders arrived at the scene to assist the rider, described as a 40-year-old man.

The victim was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center for treatment after sustaining critical injuries.

Police officials stated that no arrests were made, and it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
