A multi-vehicle crash fatally struck one person, and at least two others were injured in Irvine early Friday morning, December 2, 2022.
The California Highway Patrol confirmed that the collision transpired around 5:46 a.m. on the California State Route 405 freeway.
The Jamboree onramp southbound to the freeway was closed due to the fatal accident.
Authorities report that one person died in the crash, and the two victims were transported to the hospital after sustaining injuries.
Their identity was withheld until next of kin were notified.
