[12-02-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – Sedan Swerved Into Traffic and Injured 8 People in Apple Valley

Eight individuals were injured after a multi-vehicle collision in Apple Valley on Saturday afternoon, December 3, 2022.

Authorities confirmed that the crash occurred around 2:12 p.m. at 20340 Bear Valley Road.

One witness stated that a blue vehicle was speeding down the center divider. For unclear reasons, the driver then swerved into oncoming traffic.

The collision included a blue car, a white SUV, and a brown pickup truck.

Responders arrived at the scene and found several children were among the injured.

Two of the eight occupants were reported in serious condition, and six were reported to have minor-moderate injuries.

Meanwhile, one person fled the scene and was brought to a nearby hospital in their vehicle.

The blue sedan’s driver attempted to exit the vehicle while suffering from significant mouth trauma.

Authorities are still looking into what caused the collision.
