[12-03-2022] One Injured in Deputy-Involved Two-Vehicle Collision in Avocado HeightsOne person was injured following a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a deputy vehicle in Avocado Heights, Los Angeles County, on Saturday morning, December 03, 2022.

The crash occurred shortly before 7:48 a.m. at the Workman Mill Road and Oakman Drive intersection, according to the Industry Sheriff’s Station of Los Angeles County.

To help the officer and the patient in the other vehicle, several sheriff’s units and the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived at the scene.

The pickup truck driver was sent to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries, while the officer involved in the crash was unharmed.

At this point, it is unclear what caused the collision.
