[12-10-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – One Person Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Apple Valley

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Saturday evening, December 10, 2022.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal crash occurred around 6:12 p.m. on Outer Highway 18, between Erie Road and Standing Rock Avenue.

When emergency responders came, they declared the pedestrian dead. The body was covered with a sheet, and deputies blocked both sides of the road with their police vehicles.

The coroner reached the location by 7:30 pm to take custody of the deceased. Once the next of kin has been informed, the identity will be disclosed.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian immediately dialed 911. No details on their identity were released.
