[12-11-2022] Riverside County, CA – Single-Vehicle Crash Leaves One Dead, Four Others Injured in Menifee

A 16-year-old was killed and four others injured after a single-vehicle crash in Menifee on Sunday night, December 11, 2022.

The fatal collision occurred around 6:26 p.m. at 29500 Old Newport Road.

Authorities state that a Tesla was traveling eastbound when the car’s driver lost control and collided with a curb.

The vehicle then went off the road, colliding with a tree before hitting a brick wall.

Paramedics were called and pronounced a 16-year-old passenger dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, two of the four injured were hospitalized with severe injuries, one with moderate and one with minor injuries.

It was not believed that alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
