[12-12-2022] Male Pedestrian Killed in Boyle Heights After Alleged Car CrashAuthorities said a pedestrian was fatally struck in a possible car crash in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, on Monday morning, December 12, 2022.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred shortly before 4:40 a.m. on the 400 block of S. Gless Street near East 4th Street.

The firefighters who responded to the scene found a male pedestrian lying with severe injuries and beyond medical help.

No other details on his identification and cause of death were released by the authorities.

As the investigation continued, the police refused to confirm if the collision was a hit-and-run.
