[12-20-2022] Fresno County, CA – Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck By Car in Fresno

A pedestrian was injured after a car ran him over in northeast Fresno on Tuesday morning, December 20, 2022.

Authorities reported that the collision transpired around 8:00 a.m. near Blackstone Avenue and Auto Center Drive.

Reports state that the vehicle lost control, spun out, and drove over the curb into bushes along the curb line.

According to authorities, the pedestrian was resting in the bushes when he was hit by the car. The Corvette appeared to run over the top of the victim.

The victim was assisted by other locals on the scene and was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Corvette remained at the site and participated in investigations.
