[12-21-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – Five-Vehicle Collision in Hesperia Injures One Person

Authorities said a person was injured and hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision in Hesperia on Wednesday afternoon, December 21, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the five-vehicle crash occurred shortly before 2:04 p.m. along southbound Interstate 15 south of Main Street.

First responders arrived at the scene and discovered the collision was in the fast lane. It is unclear as of yet how the crash occurred and how many were involved.

One person who received minor injuries chose not to be taken in an ambulance but was instead driven by a personal vehicle to a nearby hospital.

The crash caused heavy traffic on the southbound freeway as CHP briefly shut it down for their investigation.
