[12-21-2022] Sonoma County, CA -78-Year-Old Driver Killed After Two-Vehicle Crash in Rohnert Park

A two-vehicle crash led to the death of a 78-year-old driver in Rohnert Park on Wednesday morning, December 21, 2022.

Reports indicate the collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Golf Course Drive West and Labath Avenue, close to the Graton Resort and Casino.

Authorities established that a white GMC utility truck was traveling east on Golf Course Drive when a black Mercedes-Benz traveling west attempted to turn left onto Labath Avenue and collided.

The 78-year-old Mercedes driver died at the scene, while the GMC truck driver suffered moderate injuries.

The crash is under investigation, although impairment does not appear to have been a factor.
