A pedestrian was killed after they were struck by a vehicle in Rancho Cordova on Friday night, December 23, 2022.
Reports confirmed that the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. on a Highway 50 on-ramp close to Sunrise Boulevard.
Authorities stated Friday night that a person was killed in Rancho Cordova.
Paramedics attempted CPR on the victim, but he died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigations.
There were no traffic closures as a result of the collision.
