A two-vehicle collision claimed one person’s life in Santa Clarita early Thursday morning, November 10, 2022.
The crash reportedly occurred around 12:25 a.m. on Soledad Canyon Road west of Oak Avenue.
The deadly crash involved a 2019 Toyota 4-Runner driven by a Los Angeles resident and a 2013 Hyundai Tucson driven by a Simi Valley resident.
Due to unknown reasons, the Toyota 4-Runner crossed over the solid double yellow lines and directly into the other vehicle’s path, causing a head-on collision.
According to reports, the Simi Valley man suffered fatal injuries during this collision.
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver sustained minor injuries.
Alcohol does not currently seem to be a contributing factor.
Further investigation of the crash is still ongoing.
