[11-11-2022] Fresno County, CA – Woman Driver Suspected of DUI Killed, Man Injured in Vehicle Rollover in Fresno

According to the California Highway Patrol, a woman was killed and another was injured in a rollover collision that had two children inside in Fresno on Friday, November 11, 2022.

Deputies of Fresno County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the single-car crash at 12:10 a.m. near Manning and Porter avenues after receiving reports that someone was screaming for help.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office stated that 31-year-old Angelica L. was the one who got killed in the crash. She was the car driver, and inside the car with her were two children, a 4-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl, and their father. Officials did not specify whether the victim was the mother.

The victim died from her injuries when the responders arrived, while the children’s father was transported to a local hospital for sustaining moderate injuries.

The two kids were fortunately uninjured after being secured in the car seats. They are now in the care of a relative.

According to investigators, DUI may have contributed to the collision. Further investigation was being conducted.
